The new year is a time for new beginnings. I've been considering re-designing this blog for some time now. I've hunted some design resources and thought you might like a share of what I've found so far.
The main thing that has stopped me from doing a re-design is that I like too many colors! The thought of a theme switcher for blogger has come to mind many times. Edit: For those who are in question, here are the terms for August Empress items: It's perfectly ok to use them on your own personal blogs, it's why I've created them :) The terms of use are to stop designers from using those resources in work they are being paid for, and for others not to make a profit from them.

Wow, I love the August Empress stuff! I checked out her terms & it's personal use only {bummer}. I'm excited to see what you come up with! I love checking out what graphic designers do with their own blogs. I know how easy it is to design for other people but never take the time to do if for yourself. I've been working on a makeover for my personal blog for the last few weeks. I'm just being nit-picky now on my test-site before I go live.

@Katie I think that Katie's terms are there so people don't rip her goods and post the download links on their own site and/or make money from the resource. I bet she wouldn't mind the patterns being used as a blog background. She does have the social icons available as well. It's just a hunch. She has a contact form on her site, maybe I'll send her a message with a question about it just to clarify things.
It may take me some time to do my redesign, lol! I have so much going on these days. As of recent, my admin area's styling has been lost - all of the gadgets are stacked on top of each other and the drop down menus are in a huge bullet list. I think it's because I have been using an external stylesheet. Blogger may have changed things in regards to this use with the new blogger roll out.
Change is definitely fun, but it can be time consuming. You are so right about designers working on their own stuff last!!! ♥
